⁵ God is the one who has prepared us for this destiny, and he has given us the Spirit as a pledge of this.

⁶ Therefore, we are always confident, even though we realize that as long as we are at home in the body, we are exiles from the Lord, ⁷ for we walk by faith, not by sight.
